Tenel Ka and I have left and are on our way to Naboo to Tahiri and Jag's wedding. To say that I am ecstatic over something is just... not even the right term for what I feel. I asked Tenel Ka to marry me and she agreed. I've always loved her and I told her that I can't ever leave her side. My destiny is with her and I can not think of a life without her. Feeling her love returned is incredible and I look forward to the day we are man and wife, joined legally as we are already joined within our souls.

I got up very early so I could catch the first available transport to Hapes, so I've actually been enroute for a few hours now. I just needed to rest and meditate some. I can't wait to see Tenel Ka! I know this journal is short, but I just... I should be able to write more enroute and once I get to Hapes. I'm just really looking forward to seeing Tenel Ka again.

Back on Denon and I. am. BORED. Do Jedi even GET bored? Well, I am. I finally came out of the funk I was feeling on Zonoma Sekot and I realized... I completely blew the chance for time alone I had with Tenel Ka while we were there. I mean I admitted to her how I felt but for what? I didn't act on it while I was there. I think it's time that I take her up on her invitation to Hapes.

Oh, wow, I haven't posted in here for a while. I almost forgot about it again. It's almost funny how everyone else has done this journal thing half to death, and I have all of twenty posts.

Almost funny, but not quite.

Quite a lot has happened since I last posted. Which is a bit of an understatement, but you read about all that in everyone else's journals. As for me, well, Jaina, Kyp, Jag and Tahiri played this nasty prank on Tenel Ka and me last week. . . except that it wasn't that nasty. . . and wasn't so bad. . . and I can't actually complain too much.

Except about the closet part. I mean, really, was that necessary? Plus, it meant we missed seeing Kyp dancing on the table. Which would've been fun.

Anyway, I'm still on Zonama Sekot, and it seems much more peaceful now that most of the others have gone home. Which is what I need at the moment, peace and quiet to think. Because. . . there's still something buzzing at my mind. I say "still" - it actually feels different to the thing that the others got rid of.

But I think that was something else - after all, I could only really sense that when I tried; it was Ben and Jaina who felt it the most. No, this is different, but I think it's related to that dream I had back on Hapes. Or something. . . I mean, I haven't had that since the others defeated that thing a couple weeks ago, but the buzzing's still here. Sometimes. . .

Maybe it's just me. Just a headache or something. A near-constant headache for two months - sure.

OK, so it's not a headache. But then, I don't know what it is. . . :\

I finally got the reason why Kyp's been coming round here so often. A tip; he generally gives up his half-hearted attempts at bluffing and secrecy when properly interrogated. I think the threat of making him look after Ben every single day helped. Though surprisingly, he seemed OK with that prospect if it was once a week, or even slightly more. Strange. No, I'm not sure how I was going to implement this threat, but I think I'm really not that bad at bluffing. Just, you know, not when it comes to sabacc.

Oh, the reason? It's strange, but I feel like listening to his plea not to tell you all. I mean, part of it is about Ke'dem T'iassale (though, because he can't pronounce it, he still refers to it as "that Yuuzhan Vong thing that's bugging Jaina"), but part of it's something else entirely that he seemed to think he needed my approval/help/something with. Which he did. And which he, I'm surprised to find myself saying, has. Go for it, Kyp.

As for Ke'dem T'iassale, I don't know. It's getting restless and frustrated, but that could just be the feelings of everyone else round here. It's not moving, since it still can't find Jaina, but I think it's getting... angrier or something, I really don't know. Ben seems to be the expert with this thing, for some reason.

I don't think it's going to do anything any time soon, but then, it already is doing something by projecting these feelings. And hurting Jaina. So... I think we might have to do something. It seems to be somewhere over there. *points to corner of the room*

Kyp just pointed out that's not very helpful. Kyp, go away and back to Jaina.

Speaking of scary, remind me to be far away from Kyp next September 19th. He, Dad and Jag tried to take over our place on Sunday, and throw me, Tenel Ka and Uncle Luke out and have some kind of pirate-y party thing. I don't know. But we said no. So Kyp ran out back next door, and Dad and Jag just kind of shrugged and followed him.

Anyway, everything else is just the same, really. I still haven't managed to find out what's going on, but, I don't know, it's something. That's all I have. Confusing, I know, but I don't know anything else that I can tell you guys. Just... weird.

uh. Sorry I've not posted here since arriving... I think my datapad has taken a disliking to Zonama Sekot, or maybe the other way round. It keeps disconnecting and shutting down and generally being disagreeable. Probably wasn't a smart idea to let Threepio look over the programming before leaving Hapes, huh?

The vision/dream is still annoying me. Kyp's flitnat analogy seems fitting, except that it doesn't go away when I reach out to it, it just gets clearer. Not clear, just clearer. But now I can't really see anything in it... it's just feelings. Bad feelings. Darkness. And something I can't quite sense, but almost can. It's stronger at certain times, then almost disappears, and just returns... no real pattern to it...

I've spoken to Sekot about it, or tried to, but she was being very mysterious about it all. The Vergere persona probably doesn't help that, but either Sekot is hiding something, or she doesn't know something and is trying to make it look like she's hiding it... I'm not sure.

I'm also getting a little worried - and suspicious - about Jaina's headaches. It can't just be a random coincidence, can it? I get a vision, Sekot tells Jaina to stick close to Kyp, she has headaches and is dizzy... Randomly? The Force doesn't work randomly...

Something's going on. The Force is doing something and it's doing it for a reason. Hopefully one I'll be able to comprehend at some point.

But when I'm not worrying about this vision, it's pretty nice being on Zonama with Tenel Ka. It's fun. :)

oh, I guess this ship does have the fancy transmitters. Never bothered looking, got kinda pre-occupied with-- other stuff.

We're... almost there now. I think we should arrive by tonight. It's taking longer than I thought, but I suppose I never was really good at picking the best hyperspace routes...

The vision seems to have.. not stopped, but it's less persistent now. I'm not sure whether that means it was just a dream and there'll be nothing there when we reach Zonama, or whether it means that whatever it is knows I'm almost there anyway and decided to stop bugging me. Hopefully the first one, and the only thing I'll have to do is catch up with Jaina and the others, and spend time with Tenel Ka that isn't constantly interrupted by meetings and servants and "please, Your Highness, just one more to see you".

Maybe, for once, the galaxy can forget that I'm a Solo and just treat me like a regular person. Hopefully. Possibly. Maybe.

OK, I'm leaving in about an hour. That is, we're leaving in about an hour. I couldn't convince Tenel Ka that it'd be better if she stayed on Hapes. Probably because I didn't quite believe it myself. She'd be safer, but... well, I'm also kind of glad she's coming along.

Of course, what I don't like to ask is how she appears to have convinced all her various bodyguards to stay behind. They're even harder to get rid of than Noghri. I have this very bad feeling that as soon as we get out of the atmosphere, the comm board is going to go crazy. Or they'll all be hiding in the cabins, or the cargo deck, and we'll land on Zonama Sekot and they'll just appear, like a bug infestation or...

Sorry, my imagination seems to be a little overactive. I'll have to stop that; I have enough real stuff to worry about, without making more up. >>;

Well, I better go find Tenel Ka and get the ship sorted. I'm not sure if it has one of those fancy transmitters, so if I don't post again until we arrive on Zonama Sekot, it's safe to assume it doesn't.

weird dream

I've been having this weird dream lately. Except it's not really a dream, it's more of a vision. But I hope it's not, too...

It's been bugging me for over a week now; it's the one I told Jaina about before she and Kyp left. I don't know what it means, it's hard to make out, but it hasn't gone away at all. I can't figure much from it, but I can definitely feel something... dark, in it.

There's a definite Sekotan feel to it as well, which puzzles me. Or maybe that's a good thing, because it means there isn't really anything wrong. I mean, if there was something wrong on Zonama Sekot, then Sekot would know it, and therefore, Tahiri would know it, right? And she'd mention it, but she hasn't. So maybe it is just a dream.

Or maybe that means it's definitely a vision, of something coming.

So there's darkness, and something Sekotan, and something going on, or something about to happen. But also... something worse. I can feel darkness, and I can feel Sekot, but I can also see Tenel Ka, somewhere in the middle of it all. The only thing is, in my vision, I can't feel her at all.

I know it's weird - what's the difference between seeing and feeling in a dream/vision? - but that's how it is. I can feel darkness and Sekot, but can't see them; and I can see Tenel Ka, but I can't feel her. I don't know what it means at all, but it can't be good.

I need to go and see what's happening on Zonama Sekot... not that there is anything happening, but because there might be, and I just need to reassure myself that there isn't and won't be. I'll have to speak to Tenel Ka about borrowing a ship, since I don't have one here and don't really want to use the Falcon, since my parents are still having a great time here.

I hope I'm wrong, that there's nothing dark going on... But it's definitely insistent, so I have to check it out myself. Still... hope it's nothing.

So I'm posting this from the Falcon, we're on our way to Hapes... I think we're nearly there, but when I asked dad, he laughed and told me I hadn't asked that since I was nine... but he didn't answer the question ._.

It's not my fault I can't wait to get there. Well, maybe it is, but really... I can't help being impatient. It's just... strange to think that last time I really saw Tenel Ka, and had a real conversation, was on the Myrkr mission... so much has happened since then, it's just not funny. Even I can't turn that into a joke. It's just too much.

But I'm hoping it won't be too weird... Sure, a lot's happened, and I'm different, and she's different, but... not too different? I hope not anyway.

But there's been some... not so much good news, and possibly not even "news", but something interesting anyway. Apparently, one of Jaina's pilots got back to Myrkr a couple months ago, and explored the worldship, checked it out. The good news is they found M-TD, the interesting news is... they didn't find Raynar. At all.

I'm not really sure what this means. There's a cynical voice in me that says it just means the ship - and Raynar, Lomi and Welk - got totally vaped and there's nothing left. But then... how would they have found M-TD?

So there's something in me saying that there's a chance he's alive. Where, I don't know, and how, I haven't a clue... But since Lomi and Welk weren't found either...

I don't know. I don't like to speculate about this, since there's no hard evidence for anything yet. I should just make a note of it, and then carry on with life until something else turns up. If anything else turns up.

But that's hard. I mean, to think... after all this time... after we mourned him, after having to tell his mother, after everything... that Raynar could be alive... it's going to go round and round in my head until I get some clear evidence for whatever conclusion, I know that.

I have to go... Dad says we're pretty much there. See you all later then...

Yes, I'm still on Denon at the moment... Didn't feel like tagging along with Twin Suns, it'll be a while before anyone convinces me to go back to Coruscant, for one thing...

But, I will be going to Hapes soon, hopefully. My ship's all fixed up now - Jaina helped me fix it the other day (read: Jaina fixed it and I hung about getting in the way), so it's space-worthy, though not as fancy as the fighters in Twin Suns now... just a boring old regular X-wing... I would have a Sekotan ship, but, well, I'm not really sure about all that. I think I'll leave that a while, too.

What else to do... I don't feel like losing another game of sabacc... All my animals (the entire three I now have, that is) are sleeping... There's not really much for me to do here now, really. I might have to go find something, maybe go exploring round more planets or something again...

I don't know. I guess I need to sort out for Hapes... Tenel Ka, can you get me a room or something? Preferably away from Twin Suns'... not that I don't want to be near them... just, you know... evil... >>;

I'll spend a few days there... it'll be nice to catch up with Tenel Ka, I haven't seen her since... well, a long time. I vaguely saw her at that last Jedi meeting, on Zonama, but didn't get a chance to talk or anything. So I'll have to do that.

Then, who knows? Ossus, Zonama Sekot again, back to Denon... or maybe I could convince myself to scout out Coruscant... or... well, I'll wait and decide later what to do.

Until then, I guess for now, I'll go get some lunch, and whatever.

I'm not going to comment on the party. I'm not going to comment on yesterday. All I'll say is, it's about vaping time.
And that Kyp is the most dense person I've ever met.

Anyway, on a different note, Tenel Ka has one of these journals now, too. ^_^ Much easier to keep in contact now, since with comm calls, you never get through... security procedures and what not... It's all pretty annoying.

Don't have much else to say... Oh, I gave Ben a collection of toy animals for his birthday (not a real one, no), but I think he preferred the blocks Jaina got him. eh.. I never claimed to know what little kids would want for presents, did I?

OK, so I went out to a couple bars the other night with dad. I've never really been one for drinking, either, but I guess I had fun.

Well, um... I, uh... I commed Tenel Ka yesterday.
I almost didn't, because I didn't have a clue what to say, but I did it anyway, and when I finally got through to her, I just... started talking.
I don't think I made much sense at first, because she told me to stop and start again... so I did.
And I talked, and she listened, and I apologised, and she smiled. She actually smiled at me!
And... I don't know.

Yeah, I signed up for this thing... Looks like everyone else is as well.
Tahiri told me about it the other day when I was on Zonama, so I figured I'd give it a go. Can't hurt, right?

So, the past couple weeks, I've just been... wandering around, I guess. Going wherever the Force takes me.
Unfortunately, it didn't take me anywhere there's a good party location.
So, I decided to return home to Denon (wow, home, I have a home again...) for a few weeks or so. Partly to relax, partly for Ben's birthday, and partly because I have a feeling that if I put my ship through one more hyperspace jump it'll fall apart. Yeah, Jaina, your services are required.

I haven't actually seen my family since I got home... well, I only got back a few hours ago, unpacked in my new quarters... they're still all sleeping, I think, so I didn't want to disturb them. They all, especially Dad, get pretty annoyed when you wake them in the middle of the night.
But then, they'll probably all yell at me for not waking them up, so... can't win.

Me, I'm wide awake, so I think I'll finish this and go find a good tapcaf to have some breakfast. Or whatever meal my inner clock is indicating it's time for.
